Contributions to FLDKGEF Make a Difference
Donations to Florida DKG Educational Foundation are used to enable Florida employed educators to engage in professional development training that will enhance the education of Florida students.
The Florida DKG Educational Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3)
The Professional Development Award
The Professional Development Award enables Florida employed educators to participate in professional seminars, workshops, conferences, lecture series, on-line courses, and other non-degree program opportunities.
The award may be used to pay for registration fees, materials, travel, lodging, food and expenses related to the activity.
DKG activities are excluded.
The Professional Educational Grant
The Professional Educational Grant supports classroom activities and/or other projects designed by active or retired educators to be implemented in schools or communities. This grant promotes educational excellence for Florida students.
The grant may be used to cover costs associated with classroom activities, projects, materials, supplies, field trips, speakers, limited equipment, or follow up activities to support a previous professional development.
