About the Foundation

The Florida DKG  Educational Foundation  is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation that provides funding for activities that support the professional development of educators in the state of Florida, and promotes educational excellence for Florida students.

  • Provide funding for activities that supports professional  development of  educators in Florida
  • Promote educational excellence for Florida students
  • Enable contributors to receive tax deductible benefit for monetary support ​of educational excellence in Florida

Membership
All members of the Florida State Organization of  "The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International" are members of the Florida DKG Educational Foundation. (FLDKGEF).

History
On April 18, 2015, at the Florida DKG Convention, a motion was adopted to establish an educational foundation.  The Florida DKG Educational Foundation, Inc. was founded on June 1, 2015.

FLDKGEF is managed by a Board of Directors elected by the Florida DKG Executive Board. Officers are elected by the Board.
